Access to superior imaging technology

A CBCT (cone beam computed tomography) scanner is a machine usually only found in hospitals that we have here at Smile Tech Dental & Implant Centre. This technology allows us to create detailed 3D images of a patient's teeth and the surrounding structures.

These scans are a fantastic way for dentists to see what they are working with, reducing the chance of mistakes and allowing them to create a treatment plan that has the best chance of success. They also allow patients to see clearly what’s going on in their mouth and understand how a dentist can help.

Important Information

We can take an OPG scan and email this out to the patient or the referring dentist. With CBCT scanning we ask the patient to bring a 'dongle' with them so that we can download the image to it and they can take it back to the referring dentist.
